How to use Bialetti Kitty?

I drink coffee at least once a day but not more than 3. At home I always have Nescafe 3 in 1 or sometimes Ali Cafe 3 in 1.

I am starting my day by drinking Nescafe 3 in 1 in the morning, then during lunch after meal, and then after work in the coffee shop or in front of my computer at home.

I skip drinking coffee when I am going to be late to work and when it's late to bed.

MyBest Coffee Shop in Dubai

Because of this my friends who came from vacation in Italy brought me this Italian Coffee Maker called Bialetti Kitty. And this is how I make coffee with this for the first time.

I noticed that most Italians loves to drink coffee, particularly the espresso. Espresso has a very strong bitter taste of coffee. The Italian doesn't like the nescafe 3 in 1 so most of them has this kind of coffee maker at home.

The First Filipino who experience the Dubai Tram.

Last night I was surprise when our bus take the Emirates road going back to our accommodation, Emirates road going to Jebel Ali is a no traffic light highway with the view of Dubai skyline and the different housing projects, parks, golf course, Shopping malls and huge buildings along this road. Amazing. There is always new in Dubai.

Last November 12, 2014 Dubai Tram open it's door to service the daily commuters and tourist from Dubai Marina area to Al sufouh which is near to Burj Al Arab.

Jumeira Lakes Tower, JLT and Dubai Marina Station are the two station that are connected to the Tram Station. This is where I started my journey

The rest eh okay naman.

Nagmamahal,                                                                                                              Siete.

SJ4000 A GoPro Like Sports Camera

I always wanted to buy a GoPro because it's more popular and I think has more features than any other action/sports camera. But because I think it's expensive for me, I decided to buy a cheap alternative which is the SJ4000 HD DV Action Camera. This camera comes with a nice packaging with a waterproof case and all the mount you needed for the bike, helmet, belt, etc.

Unboxing SJ4000 HD DVAction Camera.

I bought it from souq.com, Amazon, eBay like a store in the middle east. Souq.com is good but they have a very disappointing courier(Q-express)

Ramadan local vacation things to do suggestion.

Ciao guys.

Once again its Ramadan time here in the UAE, particularly here in Dubai. I am on local vacation and I have nothing to do because things didn't come according to my plan.

Before taking this vacation I have so many plan.

1. To go out of town.
Last year we went to Istanbul Turkey, this time I can't because I don't have much money      because I bought a Macbook.

2. To enroll in languages, or website design course.
I wanted but the time is limited and cannot catch the full course.

3. To do a youtube cooking show.
I am a cook by profession. I am ready having all the raw Mise En Place but suddenly I got a new room mate. and he
is sleeping in daytime which is best time to shoot the video.

4. Challenge myself to vlog on public.
I tried yesterday but I am not satisfied. So Im going to do it more.

Now that I spend already two days of my 17 days vacation and still not doing anything. Until now I am still browsing the web for a possible training course, part-time job, or even volunteering for a charity works.

I am going to the Philippines sometimes on October 2014.

Where to eat ramadan daytime in Dubai

Don't eat, drink in public, there are CCTV cameras in the city.

These are some restaurant that are open all day during ramadan in Dubai. Tried these by myself.

Cafe di casa
Located just beside gold and diamond park. FGB or First Gulf Bank Metro Station, they have the most italian food especially pasta.

25 55 Cafe Bistro
Located at Dubai Marina Yacht Club. A few steps from jumeira lakes tower metro station. Pass through the small children playground and its there.

Mistral Restaurant
Located at the ***** IBN Battuta Movènpeck Hotel.

They have international buffet breakfast during ramadan. Great fresh food selection.
After breakfast you can go to the temperature controlled swimming pool and be served with a food there too.

Dubai International Financial Center

All the restaurant at The DIFC are open for dining from lunch to dinner. I ate at Noodle House beside the SuahiArt which is also open. Caribou, Potbelly, Gloria Jeans etc. DIFC is a financial and commercial center that is located just a few walks from the DIFC metro station. Most of the diner here are office worker.

If you are a tourist or a resident who are strolling in Dubai during daytime of Ramadan, the biggest challenge you are going to encounter is finding a restaurant to eat when you get hungry.  Most of the restaurant are closed in the daytime and opening in the iftar which is around six to seven o'clock in the night.

Some coffee shops, restaurant are open but they are just open for take away and delivery orders. Never try to eat food or chew anything in public because you might be in a serious trouble they might put you in jail.

Where to eat as much as you want.

Well.. most of the restaurant that are inside the hotels are open, and they are open not just for in-house guest, mostly are open for public. They serve the normal menu just like the ordinary days. They even have a buffet so you still can enjoy your breakfast and lunch. If you are worried about the price, well don't expect hotel food prices to be like KFC or MC Donald. Prices in a hotels restaurant are ranging from from 50 Dirhams single meal to 200 Dirhams. That is from ordinary to luxury hotels restaurant.

Most of the Shopping Mall Food Counters are also open for take away orders, you can order take away and eat it in the toilet and make sure no one see you because they might laugh at you or to the worst they might complain you.

The point is to respect the people, the culture, the religion of the United Arab Emirates.

Switching to Apple MacBook

Finally. I am now writing this blog with my new Macbook Pro. I feel amazing today.  It's been two years that I am dreaming of this.

2008 when I first came to Dubai and the very first gadget I bought is a HP computer costing around 4000 Dirhams and I paid it on an installment basis because my salary that time is only 1700 Dirhams. But due to excessive use for gaming by my room mate, the LCD crashed and think of bringing it to the repair shop will gives me more trouble in the future so I decided to buy a new one.

December 2009 when I bought a new one  Toshiba Satellite L505 which until now (June 2014) is in good condition without any scratches or faded color. I am heavy user but until now it works good for web browsing, watching movies, etc. But it takes time now to start and it becomes very slow on video editing.

Why I switched to MacBook.

It all started when I bought an iPhone 4S on 2012 as replacement for my Samsung Jet. I thought  it's only the camera and the design that makes the iPhone 4S amazing. But then I started to watch a tips and tricks youtube video tutorial and from there I learned that it can do so many things that  other smart phone cannot do, that it can create music, edit great video etc. Ty Moss of Ty's iHelp YouTube Channel without him knowing that he influenced me to be apple fanboy. I bought an iPad 2 then change it with an iPad mini and before buying this Macbook I am very much tempted to buy a 128 gb iPad mini retina but then end up with this Macbook Pro.

Most of my videos are edited using Cyberlink Powerdirector on my PC but its getting very slow with my almost five years Toshiba Satellite L505 PC. Then I learned some stuff that it's more easy and more convenient to transfer and edit videos on iPad. Aside from that, iMovie and Pinnacle Studio video editors works great on iPad the only problem is the 16 gb space on the iPad. Gadgets and stuff are not created perfectly so I decided to keep my16 GB iPad mini  and bought this Macbook Pro MD101 mid 2012 model.

This Macbook Pro MD101 is mid 2012 model, Since two years ago I am planning to buy this. Finally I did.

With this Macbook Pro:

1. I hope to learn new things that only a Macbook can do. (making apps etc)

2. To make nice video.

3. To learn audio production.

4. To write more blog.

5. To use this device to help others.

6. To enhance my knowledges as a Chef.

7. To save money,
